I made the application with the adoption agency and they said, okay. Now, all you need to do is contact the person for your home study. So I called her and she said, “Nope, sorry. We can’t do that. We don’t do home studies for Hague Countries” ACK! She said, “If you want, I can take your information and we’ll let you know if we start doing them soon.” No, I’m leaving Germany in under a year, but we wanted to get this process started! So, no baby for us. At least 2 more years 
I’m actually crying. I have to go now.

I’m sorry things are being so difficult for you. I’m always reading your blog so keep writing, i’ll pray a special prayer for you so you can have your baby that you always dream of. If there’s anything we can do for you from here let me know.
What does that mean? You cant adopt in Germany, or you can only adopt from certain countries?
I am so sorry to hear this bad news. Can you find another agency who will do the homestudy?
My husband and I are in the early stages of interntional adoption, but we cannot even schedule our homestudy yet because we know we will be moving in a few months. Very frustrating.
