Stop the Madness!

Last issue of the newspaper, I had an article and a half published and this issue I have like 4 or 5 pictures and 2 stories (and one I didn’t even write alone…though to be fair, he told me 8-10 words and I didn’t realize that he was being sarcastic) and I wrote like 5 sentences. He wanted a few more than that. So from now on, I know that 10 words really means like 10 sentences. LOL!

There’s not a whole lot going on this week, but I think I am going to do a couple of stories on my own. There’s this really old guy who works at the library and he’s really interesting…then, I found out that there’s this OTHER really old guy that works as a volunteer at the USO and they’re shutting down in November. Then, I was at ACS today to get some VMIS stuff taken care of and I ended up talking to the Mob/Dep manager here and when I went into his office he had TONS of boxes of food. The USO and ACS are teaming up together to welcome home the Soldiers that are deployed. There are a few more gone than I thought, but I guess that’s just the way it is right now.

I have another FRG function to go today and I have to go into work tomorrow afternoon. Normally, I don’t work on days that I have PWOC, but if I want this video to get up on the website by the 4-day weekend, I HAVE to get it done tomorrow. There simply isn’t enough time!

Last night at the Coffee group, Laurie had given me some jeans that were (seemly) too big for her and I put ’em on today. They are SO comfy! Speaking of, I need to write a thank you note. Well, gotta go!

Thanks for reading 🙂
