Now, on to the fun stuff! I wrote a story about the Hanau High School Girls’ Volleyball team and that can be found on page 16 and the photos that I took of the Haunted Houses can be found on page 20. Things just couldn’t be going better for me, right now! I’m so happy with where my life is headed that I can’t imagine doing anything else. Why didn’t I think of this before? It sure did take me a long time to figure out what it was that I wanted to do with my life!

I guess I’m not alone. I’ve heard that a lot of people go through their entire lives never finding out what makes them so happy that they feel like bursting, so I guess I’m very thankful that I found out before it was too late! I guess it’s never too late to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life. My grandma went back to school and graduated from Cosmetology school when I was about 10 years old or so. I remember being so proud of her. She is the kind of woman I want to grow up to be. She was extremely active, a bit of a perfectionist and a wonderful person! Her face radiated happiness and love all the time. I really miss her.

Well, I better get going for now. I suppose I should figure out what I need to do for dinner. Ciao!

Not as boring as you might think…

Hahaha! I finally got a new background for this thing! I have always liked Hello Kitty, but I honestly didn’t like the other backgrounds that they had a pyzam, so I decided to use this. It was a HUGE pain in the butt to update this because it said that I was going to lose all of my widgets if I did…so…I had re-input all the stuff…it didn’t take long since I had saved it in a word doc, but still in all…it took FOREVER it felt like. Really only 2.5 hours to fix the page…but at least I know I can customize this.

Besides, I’m going to start my movie and book log over after the first of the year. Figured I might as well get a fresh start! Only 47 days until Christmas, can you BELIEVE THAT? That means in 46 days I get to see my parents and in 39 days I get to see my in-laws! Life is good! Praise God!

Quit moving around

I guess I’m making my sister-in-law dizzy! I’ve moved around so much in the last couple of months, I don’t think she wants to update her RSS feeds anymore! LOL! Who knows. I’m still deciding. I’ll keep checking this out to see what different things I can do with it…it’s definitely got a different feel to it. I imagine once I got used to it, it would be fine…

They stole my idea!

Soldier for a day or as I like to call it, “Jane Wayne Day” LOL! Why reinvent the wheel? As a matter of fact, I stole my idea from the Marine Corps where my brother is for the time being, still active duty. Actually, I just stole the name…we still have to do it the Army way…which is a lot different than the Marine way…

I’d like to do this while we’re still in Hanau, but I just don’t see how it’ll be possible…the weather’s just getting too cold right now and I don’t need anyone getting sick! Besides, truth be told, I don’t want to be out there when it’s cold…yes, there’s always another motive!!!!

I’m contemplating moving my blog, but I haven’t yet decided if I will or not. I don’t know…

I’m debating on whether to keep blogger or not. These are both free services, but I just found a Blog Services Review and wordpress got 4 out of 4 stars and blogger only got 3 out of 4. TypePad (the service you PAY for) only got 3.5 out of 4 (the reason it got less is because you have PAY for it! lol) I don’t know…I haven’t decided yet. The thing is, I would have to update all of my links and stuff….I donno…no clue. Well, anyway…blah, blah, blah!

I meant to blog yesterday…

Well, I’m sucking wind at this writing thing…I started to write yesterday, but I got all of 5 words out. I can’t think of anything to write about (for my novel, that is). I’ve been busy doing all kinds of other things that writing is coming up at the end of things to do.

Rob hurt his back a few days ago doing PT so he’s been feeling like crap for a while now. Lilo and Gizmo are going really well and Casey’s just a pill, as usual. Today is my step-mother’s birthday, so I need to give her a call later. I think daylight savings ended for them today, so now it’s 8 hours difference again!

Rob’s eating and I’m just relaxing. Yesterday, we went shopping and Rob got me a DVD set on Steam Engine Trains and the Sims 2: Castaway game for Wii. He’s really enjoying the game. He hasn’t liked too many of the games so far…We got the Brunswick Bowling game two weeks ago, but he’s not really into it. He prefers the Wii Sports to any of the other games…though to be fair, he hasn’t played Elebits yet. He doesn’t think he’d really like the Ratatouille game because of the jumping sequences. I almost got the classic game pack, but…

Rob wants to take my computer and the Wii home with us at Christmas. He thinks his parents and the nephews will really enjoy it. Of course we’re taking the computer….duh! I don’t travel without a computer, these days! Silly, I know. I don’t know how I made it in the 80s and 90s without a laptop!!

Friday Bowling Night

Well, tonight I bowled for the first time in 2 weeks and I did really well. I don’t even know how! I bowled a 152 the first game, 145 the 2nd and 127 the 3rd. I couldn’t believe it! It totally amazed me! Anyway, considering that I’m still pretty exhausted from the Haunted House…This afternoon, I finished the FRG newsletter…I’m really proud of it! It took me like 3 full days to finish it, but it looks professional. I’ve already received a lot of comments on it! I can’t believe it.

Haunted House pictures

Well, today we tore down the haunted house. It’s kind of weird because for the last 2 weeks, I’ve been doing nothing BUT the haunted house. Kind of like Christmas. It’s always a let down Christmas night just before you go to bed. You know that in a week the tree will be gone and you’ve been wondering for weeks what was inside those pretty packages, shaking them and trying to guess, to no avail, what you might have gotten!
